About me
I'm Alessandro. I have always loved maps: as a child, in the car, I looked for the castles drawn on road maps and asked to go and visit them. Every fantasy novel I bought had a map I couldn't take my eyes off, and Middle-earth is still my favourite.
I started drawing them when I became a game master: a campaign that lasted more than four years, and a world that needed to be seen. Since then I have drawn the map of Caligo, the Fate setting published by Dreamlord Games, and for Storie di Ruolo I wrote MapTutorial, short guides to drawing maps.
Today I draw digitally, in Procreate. By day I write code, in the evening I draw. You will often find me at Italian comic and game fairs, like Naoniscon in Pordenone and San Donà Fumetto.
